Description
This painting was inspired by a trip to the local outdoor market where a large selection of ornamental cabbages was on display. I tried to capture the heat of the summer day in Florida playing against the cool blues and lavenders in the plants. I also enjoyed focusing on the circular rhythms of large leaves echoing each other over and over.
