Landscapes in Florida inspire the use of color. The light is intense on most days; This suggests using a variety of colors to represent the many gorgeous plants seen everywhere in the landscape. San Hill Cranes are always seen in pairs or families. I tried to capture the intimacy of these two that pair for life.
About Roger Parent
Roger Parent is a MASTER SIGNATURE MEMBER and served as President of the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society, FSWS, 2011 - 2013. His work has received numerous awards and been accepted in regional, statewide and national juried exhibitions for his skillful use of vibrant color and lively brushwork.
