Many of the windows in San Miguel have lovely plants like this one behind bars. This confinement seems amusing to me. In this instance, the geometry of the window and bars contrasted with a shadow cast by an ornate lamp on the right.
About Roger Parent
Roger Parent is a MASTER SIGNATURE MEMBER and served as President of the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society, FSWS, 2011 - 2013. His work has received numerous awards and been accepted in regional, statewide and national juried exhibitions for his skillful use of vibrant color and lively brushwork. He is a direct painter and works primarily in watercolor, acrylics and pastels.
