This somewhat abstract study is for a much larger watercolor. I enjoy the variety of warm and cool colors playing off each other in the light and shadow. They bring to mind the cool shadows providing relief from the hot sun on a summer day in Florida.
About Roger Parent
Roger Parent is a MASTER SIGNATURE MEMBER and served as President of the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society, FSWS, 2011 - 2013. His work has received numerous awards and been accepted in regional, statewide and national juried exhibitions for his skillful use of vibrant color and lively brushwork. He is a direct painter and works primarily in watercolor, acrylics and pastels. He is a: SIGNATURE MEMBER of the Florida Watercolor Society, FWS, and was accepted in five of their recent annual statewide juried shows, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 & 2017.
